Things have been kinda crazy as of late, and I haven’t had much chance to update the site, but also, I’ve had to refrain from posting new clips of my music, as I’ve gotta keep them fresh.
So the big news is I’m now working with Instra:mental & dBridge very closely for the ‘Autonomic’ sound. This isn’t an official name, but just something that refers to the sound that’s being featured in the Autonomic podcasts.
First of all, there will be a 12″ on NonPlus+ coming out within the next 3-4 months most likely. It will feature Porcelain and one other track still to be decided. I’m also working on my debut LP for NonPlus+, which will drop after Instra:mental’s LP, early to mid 2010. There will also be a 12″ on Exit at some point. Plenty of more projects on the go also, including some tasty collabs, but I’ll go into more detail about those nearer the time.
I’ve had a bunch of people asking what’s going on regarding Covert Operations, so here’s the deal. I’ve decided to put the label on hiatus for the time being, mainly due to my commitments with NonPlus+, but also because of the ongoing distribution saga, and being told what I can and can’t put out on the label. It was getting frustrating, and rather than put out music I wasn’t 100% into, I’ve decided to let it take a back seat for now. It might be back at some stage, and then again it might not. However, I do have plans to see through the last couple of projects, which includes the Mindspan LP, and Global Connections 7, so they’ll both happen at some stage this year.
Anyway, that will just about wrap it up. Thanks for all the well-wishes and support, as always, it’s greatly appreciated. Onwards and upwards!
